I and my wife are planning to visit this beautiful country from May 7 to 14. The most important for us is to see the Northern Lights. Will we be able to see this amazing phenomenon in May? What will be the spot in Iceland from where there is the greatest chance to view?

If the NLs are important then your coming at the wrong time of year. You have no chance of seeing them in May. The night sky is too light. Have a read up about the NLs to understand what they are and why you need a dark sky,
It's always best to research be fore booking and having unrealistic expectations.
Iceland's a great place to visit so just enjoy it. The NLs can be overrated.

No chance to see the NL in May. Perhaps you needed to do some research before booking your trip.

The season for Northern Lights is from September to mid April.
September is the best month for that. Better weather and clear skies more often than in the middle of the winter.
It would be great to use 10 days if possible.Edited: 7:02 am, today
