How's This Work? Archives - Wheaton Honda: New & Used Honda Dealer In Edmontonlove car

It’s time for December’s How’s This Work, and this month we’re going to take a look at a technology that is popping up in a majority of our Honda models recently. The feature is called Variable Cylinder Management, or VCM for short, and it is an engine technology that enhances fuel efficiency in vehicles. Essentially, VCM enables a V6 engine to deactivate 2 or 3 cylinders during certain types of driving to deliver optimal fuel efficiency.
